Lokta paper is a traditional, eco-friendly, handcrafted mountain paper from Nepal. Made from the bark of the Daphne bush (Daphne papyracea) which grows wild in the Himalayas. This is a renewable resource and the fibre collection and paper manufacture create valuable employment in the hill areas.
Lokta paper was primarily used for writing sacred texts and makes gift wrapping more environmentally friendly as you will re-use this beautiful paper time and time again.
